Native Americans are resistant to hearing the Gospel from Anglo Americans:

• Because of the bad witness to Christ made by our Anglo European forefathers
• Because of fears of being treated as a project rather than people today

Native Americans have lack trained godly leaders:

• Secular Native American leaders often seek to establish casinos, etc. which make a few rich and leave the majority in the cycle of sin.
• Native Christian pastors and leaders 
  Leave for training, but return due to financial and cultural struggles.  Leave and receive training, but do not return to minister to the community from which they came.

Environmental  Problems

Poverty:

• 24% of the population is living at our below *the poverty level Median household income is 23% lower than National average Unemployment 2-3 times higher than national average.

Poor Education:

• Student achievement 50% below national average
  33%-45% High School dropout rate
• Those with college degrees 50% below national average

Spiritual Problem Indicators:

• Violent crime nearly double the national average
  Property crime, theft, vandalism nearly double the national average.
• Alcoholism and Drug abuse are prevalent
• Prostitution common.
